Yesterday, was a full day for the family.
We went to an Adventure Time Encyclopedia signing/event at Wacko Soap Plant, and waited to get her book signed for six hours. Yikes. But, she had a blast.
She dressed as a Finn/Fionna hybrid character named Fia, was one of only a few who even went in costume. She was very cute about the whole thing and excited to get to meet some of the people involved with the show. I am proud of her and happy that we are able to offer experiences like that. I see simple things like yesterday as little building block to her having a safe and secure and fun adulthood.
Jets was a champ. It was't the most relaxing way to spend an ever so valuable Saturday, but she was right there for the whole things. Lucky us.
