Had a couple of mates round last night. Just chilled out with a few drinks, pizzas and a zombie movie - 28 Days Later. I love that film. I had my day all planned out but it's just started raining, and it's soooo heavy! Haven't seen it this bad in ages. Took my car to the garage, getting a few things done to it, not...

Got the house to myself for the next two weeks. My brother and parents left this morning to go to some island next to Spain for 2 weeks. It can be like a trial run for me - to see how I cope living alone I guess. The little socialite in me had already planned a couple of partys and I'm having a bbq this...

oh Newcastle is my favorite too. However you probably already new that since I'm always talking about how good it is.

I haven't heard about that in the UK. I know where I just moved from in FL, the same thing has happened. It's rare to find a decent place for less then 400,000 US dollars.
Actually I've been thinking a lot about moving to London for the summer and work as an intern at a newspaper or magazine. Well see.....I have until Spring Break to decide.

BTW....I've been meaning to ask, what ever happened to your mate Harshnoize? you two were buddies, right?

Well Bulgaria was great. I'd go back again sometime. Hot weather, cheap drink, good food. Everyone was really friendly as well. Even the little 6yr old girl who tried to pick-pocket me seemed like she would be a nice lass once you got to know her. I still told the fucker where to go. Plenty of prostitutes as well, not like they are here. At...

Doing a 4 day first-aid course this week. Just had day 1... my head is already spinning! I'm sure it doesn't have to be as difficult as this! Learning all about CPR and stuff, probably never need to know it but at least I do if it ever comes down to it. At work, it's usually just little kids banging their heads or old women...

It was such a nice day yesterday, I even got a little sunburn on my shoulders. I woke this morning to the sound of thunder and heavy rain. I quite like this weather though, something about it. Come to think of it, the only weather I don't really like is when it's really windy.... god I'm going on about the weather here, sound like I'm...

Usually we get several days out of the year here where we have 100 mph gusts of wind. Its pretty crazy. I hate the wind. A nice breeze is nice however. I also am not a fan of the snow. We get plenty of that also. I dont like to drive in it. The snow is fun to go visit up in the mountains, but its a pain to shovel around all the time.

Oh I hope you have a great time in Bulgaria. Are you going for any particular reason? It seems that all my friends in Europe are travelling right now. My best friend (who is living in Germany until September) is going to spend the Summer in Italy with her husband. My BF's parents are somewhere in Europe right now too (I think maybe Spain). You're all so lucky.

I don't know if I will be a nervous flyer or not. I'm really excited. I'm glad it's only a 3.5 hour flight though. I keep thinking about that FRIENDS episode where Phoebe telephones Rachel while she is on the plane to Paris and tells her that the plane doesn't have a right phalange. Then eveyone on the plane gets into an uproar and they all storm off. LOL......it's really silly. I probably shouldn't take my cues from television though.

Anyway I hope you have a wonderful time, and I hope that you will post some pics in your journal.

I paid for my holiday to Bulgaria. Can't wait. Don't know what to expect, but it adds to the fun. Now I just need a bikini body biggrin
I want to take my camera and get some cool shots but people have warned me about the gypsies there... if any horrible fucker wants to try there chances I'll take great pleasure in ripping there face off...

I have some money saved. I will probably try and get a loan as well. I really don't know anything about business so I'll have to get some books and just talk to people who have started their own businesses as well.

Just got back from seeing Thursday in London.... foooking good stuff!!! Supported by Million dead and OneLineDrawing. Not had sleep for 24 hours now...
We didn't book a room at a hotel or anything so had to entertain ourselves until 6am for our train. Got a pizza. Went to the tiniest but cool as fuck rock bar. Then went for a coffee at 4am.

It's...

Well I had that week off work.... sadly no sexy ladies paid me a visit. I'll give a bit more notice for when I next have time off wink

The weather here is crazy. One minute it's pissing down with rain, then the sun's out. Gotta say though, nothing better than chilling in a beer garden with your mates on a warm sunny evening.

Going to...

-Yes, as in Newcastle Brown Ale....It's the only kind I drink. Unfortunatly it's turning into an expensive habit since I've turned 21 (legal drinking age here in the states).

-Do you like living there? I'm am planning to visit a friend soon who lives near Cornwall. I would love to know more about the UK.

I know exactly what you mean about "old Newcastle" vs. "new Newcastle". It's the same way with the seaside town I grew up in. I went back home for a few days to celebrate my birthday and I was blown away by all the urbanization. It's turning into a big resort for the uber rich yuppies. There were still a few places I went to that made me feel "at home", that reminded me of the way it used to be.

-so what is it that you usually do for fun in Newcastle?

Looks like I have a week off work. I would prefer to work it though, could do with a bit more money at the mo. What do you think I could do to amuse myself this week then? confused

I like all this rain we're getting at the mo, great feeling flying down the track on my bike, over jumps, off drops falling into mud. Like being a kid again. biggrin
