So my eldest brother Michael had a seizure Thursday caused by an aneurism, which was caused by a malignant brain tumor. I spent most of my afternoon waiting for somebody to call me and tell me my brother was dead. It was pretty emotionally draining. He beat the odds and made it through surgery that day. They were able to remove some of the tumor. Last night he went back into surgery try and relieve some more of it and made it out yet again. The tumor is on the speech center of his brain, so they can't remove anymore of the tumor till he's strong enough to talk. No one knows yet whether he'll ever completely recover. All they can say is that they're optimistic. That's better than "We don't know if he's going to make it" (their first impression of the situation).
Shortly after hearing the terrible news about my brother Thursday, I was informed that our guitarist was arrested that very same morning. I don't care to go into details about that incident. Needless to say it is most unfortunate, and he will always have a place in the band when he returns.
I've had quite the weekend. I'm cold and sick. I'm extremely lonely now because it's really hard to go through all this shit without some one to be there for you.
It snowed at my house. That kind of lightened my spirits a tiny bit.
