Wow, I was so freaked out last night!
So I'm driving home from work, mind you this is 40 miles away from home. I'm getting off the "wannabe" high way and my tire goes flat!! It's like 2am dark as hell and raining. I'm shaking in my boots here.There is no where I can walk to to get help. Okay so I'm a typical girl, I can't change a fucking tire. Yeah I know I need to learn, but whatever. I have a spare, but no jack or tire iron. How wonderful is that? So I'm freakin out, I call a girl from work and she said she'd come back down and fix it. But that's 40 miles out of the way. So I'm like hmm, maybe I can flag someone down as they drive by. Ain't no body stopping for me. GRAND! So I call my dad, I woke him up at like 2:30am and he's pissed. But wtf can I do about that? I didn't plan on my fucking tire being flat. So I get off the phone with him, and I'm like shit, I gotta call him back and let him know I don't have a jack or tire iron. As soon as I'm calling him back, a guy in a truck about mid 20's asks if I need help. I say I really need help. So I tell my dad not to worry about it, that he can stay home. He told me to be prepared to call 911. Shut the fuck up. So he pulls over and helps me change my tire. I offered to give him money. I held it out so he couldn't see the denomination. Which was a $20. But he said no keep it. I thought that was really nice of him.
But wow, talk about a night. =(
