I started 2017 with a lot of baggage. Some good and bad stuff. I graduated in Design, and I love work with illustration, but I live in Brazil and I know this is a hard thing to do around here. Beacause of it I believe that wasn't a possibility for me, so I’ve tried for a while to follow an academic path. Take a master degree and so on. But it didn't work out for me. I’ve got a little upset about it, and I didn't knew what to do next. So I decided to give my dream a chance. I created a portfolio, aiming to sell my stuff. And I’m happy to say I managed to got a nice start with that. I’ve been comissioned a few times and began a comic book project called Metalmancer, which is a story about two things I like: witchcraft and heavy metal. It's working. It's actually working! It's going really slow, but still, I'm happy with what I'd done so far.
Besides that, I started 2017 as a hopeful suicide girl. I never picture myself posing before and I have no idea how I got here(!?). But nevermind. The most important thing is that 2018 is starting, and I wanna keep doing all that stuff and more, being a better model and better artist. I keep thinking about posting my art here more frequently, but I'm not sure if anyone would like to see that.
I'm also wanna be a better reader. I love to read since I've learn how to do it, and I love stories and books as far as I can remember. I felt like I haven't read enough last year. So I started 2018 with a lot of novels in my list. One of them is The Book of Dust - La Belle Sauvage, by Phillip Pullman. I randomly bought The Golden Compass in a little bookshop a long time ago, and started reading it for no reason at all, and I fucking loved it! It's such a delicate story with a crushing ending, but I always wonder about what happen to Lyra after the trilogy. Now I may find an answer, and I'm really excited about it.
For the last, I'm starting to take pole dance lessons. I'm not sure if I'm any good at it. I promise that you'll have notices soon enough.
So, that’s it. A lot of books, a lot of art, a lot of pics, a lot of dancing and falling, and trying all over again. And, of course, I wanna a lot of new tattoos. How about you guys? What do you want for this new year?
