Well, that's annoying. I opened another browser window to check the spelling of a french word, and wound up crashing in javascript hell, losing what I'd written thus far. Gotta watch your step in informational space, right?
By the way, and apropos of nothing, I really hate the convention, in network diagrams showing the internal network environment and how it's connected to the larger network, of drawing the internet as one big smelly fart cloud. You know, the crudely-drawn iconic cloud with "The Internet," all in unnecessary double-quotes, clumsily typeset by the asses of a thousand monkeys.
(Is 'clumsily' redundant in that last sentence?)
Maybe it's not such a bad thing I lost my original text. Before, I was whining about my life being a little calmer, and therefore having nothing to write. Boring.
