Wow, what fun Orlando was! I'd like to tell all the good stories but I'm sure the other girls have beaten me to it. Okay, just in case, I will tell anyway.

We got to Orlando and did a cool radio interview. We went out and were recognized by tons of people like we were supastars or something. Then we met up with...

Woo hoo! In Orlando! We slept all day and just did a radio station interview. It was fun. Now we're getting ready for tomorrow's performance. We were supposed to go see Hot Water Music tonight but didn't make it- boo. Anyway, I gotta go now, but wish us luck and talk to you later!

Heyyyyyyy all! God, I've been working and I haven't gotten ANYthing together for Orlando. (If you didn't know, Siren, Snow, Ruby and I are going to Orlando to perform on the 4th of July.) I have yet to pack or get any of my supplies. I guess I'll do that in the morning but I'm so not a morning person...

wow . . . sooooo jealous.

I was just flying last week, and no problems with water bottles (poland spring 16 oz stylie) Of course, they actually were filled with water . . . but no one was checkin' me . . . I guess it depends on the airline . . .JetBlue is super chill!

I ALWAYS take 666 as a sign of good things to come, if only cause it raises so many hackles on other people. Same with 13. oh yeah!

and the darkest hour is just before dawn........

I just had some sort of drunken panic attack about attending law school in the fall.
I'm tired of people saying "Oh you're going to live in SPOKANE?! Oh- ha ha ha!"
Or, "You're starting your first year in law school?! Get ready for the worst year of your life!"
Or, " You're taking...

ninji:

fuck them. this might sound corny but if you could meet mentors/peers online who DON'T have that attitude about law school it might help.

corny, i know, but...i've done it a couple of times w/things i'm going through. and do it on SG regularly. smile

I went rollerblading for a few hours today- well at least an hour was spent sitting in the sun though.
I went over a bridge towards downtown and saw this happy little family walking across and I heard them wondering what the "fair" was on the other side. I was on the other side of the bridge coming back over when they got across and...

I couldn't find any water to go to quickly today so I ended up at a fountain in downtown portland. I think it was the Lovejoy Fountain.
Did you ever see that SNL w/ Jim Carrey- I believe- where he was the lifeguard for a hot tub? Well, that was me in the fountain. My friend and I were in swimsuits, rubbing sunblock on...

To serve and protect... An interesting idea but EXACTLY whom is being served and protected ? How many times do we actually hear of the "protectors" protecting ANYTHING but their jobs? And something else I would like to know is how do people who could'nt make it in the military get the ability to carry and use weapons capable of killing someone at distance in public society?

' There are places in the U.S. where it's easier to become a cop than it is to get a gun...are the RULES just a LITTLE bit screwed up here or what? BY the way, I'm in favor of private ownership of all types of firearms...the only way to truly protect Democracy is an armed populace.I hope that you ,as potential law student, agree with me on this, but then again this country is still free enough that EVERYONE is still entitled to express their own opinion. What a neat idea!Sorry if I went on a little rant there...

I went to Spokane, WA, aka "Spo-Compton" for a few days to check it all out in the event that I move there for school. I guess I should say when I move there for school because the wait-list I'm on at my other top school in Seattle isn't sounding too optimistic.
Spokane wasn't as bad as I expected. After living in...

First, congrats on going to law school. As a survivor of law school, I know the trials (no pun intended) that you will go through. I wish you strength and luck.

As for white trash, I see them every day. I know them because I grew in a trailer unitl I went to college. I represent the indigent in criminal cases. Meth is rampant in Atlanta and the Metro Area. They are really interesting to talk to when they are crashing.

Summertime stinks for me. I spend most of my days in court or in the jail. I envy you. I would give anything to spend an afternoon by the riverside drinking beer.

Heyyyyyyyy!
I got a birthday card from my Grandma today. It said "I am writing this on your birthday" and "I love you" and yadda, yadda, yadda. It kinda made me laugh because when my mom became pregnant with me, she wasn't married to my dad. She was ashamed to tell her family out in Iowa about being knocked up and especially scared to...

So for my b-day (which is Thursday, woo-hoo), my friend let me get $200 worth of stuff at this discount designer store that he co-owns. $200 really didn't buy much there, believe it or not, but I did manage to score a nice one-piece Prada swimsuit. I just can't believe I own something from Prada. I'm not a fashion whore, but if...

I passed Goodwill today with 10 bucks in my pocket and decided to go see what I could get. It was kinda a fun game- the Goodwill $10 game.
I ended up getting 3 books. One about Rudy Giuliani, a philosophy reader, and one on models, 'cause I just like models. Oh and a sticker out of the sticker machine of a hot cartoon girl...

Have fun reading.

Well since I'm taking an evil summer class, I am still in my 2L year, but I am technically a 3L.

I hope I passed.

It is scary.

Good luck with your first year. If you need a bunch of marked up supplements, give me a holler and I'll send you mind.

You going to Spokane kind of makes me regret not applying to that school.
