I awoke in her arms in pacific heights,
smile on my face,
tears gone,
no longer weary eyed...
she dropped me off near work and i bought a bagel and there it was, the bay papers, the sporting news, pittsburgh has won... I stole a paper and skipped down the street happily...
what a beautiful day...

Ward is one of the most popular players in the Pittsburgh locker room and one of the least popular among AFC defensive backs. A 2004 poll of 354 current and former players by Sports Illustrated.com in 2004 rated Ward as the second "dirtiest" player in the NFL behind Rodney Harrison.
The more you knock him, the harder he counters. During a 2001 game against rival Cleveland, Browns defensive back Earl Little vowed that he was going to "kill" Ward. A few plays later, Little rushed in to defend a screen pass. Ward came over, dropped his shoulder, and knocked Little into the turf.
The guy left the field on a stretcher.

Congratulations to your team, though. Weird, weird game....I just couldn't get into it after that dull first quarter.
Also, thanks for being the sort of person who can argue (or "discuss") on the internet and not get all pissed off. Rare quality.
