My fotos that I posted on SG were shot by a professional photographer and close friend (we met at USA Today)...and all are pretty much very recent...my "old" modeling pictures on the other hand taken when I was in my 20s (which is why I did not post any of them, I am 31 now and afraid it shows in my SG fotos.)
Recently, a modeling agency sugested I model again part time and I have considered it (my job as a journalist is flexible enough), ...But, truth is: I was always horribly self-conscious (even a bit camera shy) the first time through and believe I still am...
My SGs, as you all model and even model topless or nude, I thought you might have some helpful sugestions about how to really get over being a bit camera shy?
Last time I modeled (while in college), I just grit my teeth and forced myself to do it, but it was uncomfortable. If modeling remains uncomfortable, I do not want to do it, even part-time (I would continue to work as a journalist in any case...that is my "day job")...
Again, please share any suggestions or similar experiences (i.e., feeling self-conscious in front of the camera....
...And, at 31, do I still have what it takes for print ads?
I will show you a rare semi-nude foto of me to help you decide...this is a recent foto as are all on SG, not from the "old" days...
