I'm sorry it's been a minute since I updated but I'm currently on a road trip with a cat a car and a camera traveling around the United States. As some of you know I hadn't picked up a camera since 2008 . not too long ago I felt the burst of inspiration and made peace with my camera. from that moment on I've been unstoppable all I've wanted to do is shoot pictures every single day since. I lost my job bartending in New York City and decided it was time to take to the road again and photograph my way around the country. life's been pretty interesting since I hit the road a month ago. I started in New Jersey traveled down to Atlanta down to New Orleans over through Texas Arizona New Mexico to land at in little off the grid community called slab city down near the Salton sea. I found an amazing amount of inspiration down there as well as a ton of amazing artists and creative individuals . it was nice to live for a few weeks without the hustle and bustle of the real world . I the middle of the desert off solar . I've been taking the road less traveled on this trip . A good friend back home taught me how to spin steel wool so I've been incorporating that into a lot of my photos. I've also been trying to capture life as I see it . basically the life of the Gypsy living free. it's been refreshing to spend time at Joshua tree national Park yosemite national park Sequoia national Park traveling pacific coast high way n just getting in touch with nature and and getting in touch with myself n my creative side again. And then there is my photography one www.instagram.com/tiffanyharnedphoto . I'm hoping to be able to turn my photos from this trip into a book paired with a gallery show at the end. I have been self permoting by handing out stickers and talking to lots of strangers as well as meeting up with other artists on the road that I have met thru social media. I am currently in the Bay Area . I will be heading north up the coast towards Oregon in the next few days. I plan to try n stay out on the road for another month or two with planned stops in Portland , Salt Lake City, and various areas of Colorado. Come take a walk in my shoes n join me on this photographic journey to spark my inspiration n create photographic images yet again in life as my talent blossoms .
