You're not a lurker if you really mean to post, but your net connection dies just when you need it. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.
I've had wireless in my apartment for, oh, half a year now; but just the past month it's been getting really wonky on me. It used to be that I could download music, stay on AIM, all that good stuff...now I can barely check email without having to click on my connection at least once. Fuck, and I thought I was free from that damn ethernet cable.
Some folks have the get-a-job attitude (and more power to them) but I don't. Don't get me wrong, I'm dilligent and hardworking and honest and bright-eyed and bushy-tailed...but I HATE RESUMES. Not just mine, but everybody's. Cover letters too.
In years past, I've done a lot of the type of (legal) things you can do to make money without a real job...medical experiments, art modeling, bodily fluid donation...and I've had a lot of jobs that were fun...bartender, concert security...and my first job ever was tour guide at the Winchester Mystery House. But now I've go to make some real bucks. So I'm trying once again to come to terms with the resume-and-cover-letter thing. Wish me luck.

I'm being the worst procrastinator with job hunting. I just...don't have time. And I have a fear of being so unqualified that I'm not going to get a second look anyway. Guess I gotta suck it up... I was elected to head up the mock trial competition in the fall though. Time to update the resume that I never send out anyway...
