A very good friend of mine told me I had to update, so here goes...
I rang in the New Year at my sister's house, surrounded by people who love me, and talking to somebody very special. No alcohol, no fire works, no huge party. Just family. All-in-all, not a bad way to start the year.
Today, dinner at Mom's. More family. I need to get this while I can, it looks like I won't be back for about a year. But I'm already looking forward to next Christmas, for reasons I won't divulge here.
My resolutions are health, happiness, buying a home, and starting a life. You?

My resolutions are the proper balance between simple, and complex. Health, Happiness...ect. Why is it the end of the year and beginning of a new one is so significant with starting a new? Is a new calendar such a monumental change that we feel so strongly about making such life changes? I'm not judging, just observing...what do you think?
Safe travels, honey.
