So, uuuhhhhhhh, the unofficial/official promotion becomes either official or myth at about 1 am tonight. My commander and 1st Sgt are going to be leting people in at 11pm in the work centers, and if promotees (me) aren't working at 11, they're going to the dorms. Waking people up. I have to get up at 4am, I'm not looking forward to being awoken at 1 am, as excited as I'll no doubt be. Oh, and there's some promotee function going on at the club at 4pm, and the cost is $5. Nominal, to be sure, but still extortion. "Congrats on the good news, gimme money." I'm giving my 1st Sgt 100 nickels. Ha ha. 
Update: It's official, I got selected. I'm going back to bed. Oh, yeah, I didn't get hit up for any money. Now I have 100 nickels I don't need.

I could no sooner pick a favorite star in the sky...both are beautiful...however, I know who's going to be riding it, so I might be a little biased...
