Wow, two posts in almost a week eh? Arn't you guys lucky
To be honest I have been trying to get back into the SG thing because there are a lot of people on here for whom I have a lot of time for. I have some other thoughts on SG, which I'll post later.
A quick 'Belated Happy Birthday' to Snarky and junecarter - I hope they both had wonderful times filled to capacity with awesomesauce!
Thanks for all your messages. I think 30 in one week has been a new record for me. Talking to you guys has really helped to keep my mind of work shit which really gets me down, so thank you. I desperately need to get my own laptop. I feel pretty restricted using the means I have right now of accessing SG. I needs to fix that!
Speaking of SG; I currently have a 'Love/Hate' relationship with it. On one hand, there is the Love; there are you guys and all your awesome comments you leave me and all the positive reactions I get from my nekkidness. There is the making new friends, and keeping up with old ones. There is the members boobies which, to be honest I find more interesting than SG boobies. Don't get me wrong, the SG's are stunning, but i stay for the community for sure.
On the flipside there are the things in SG I'm not so keen on. I recently got into SG chat, because it is fun and, as an exhibitionist, SG chat posts some great opportunities. A few things about SG chat really get my goat though. First of all, SG chat gives me virusues. Twice yesterday the laptop I'm using (not mine) got viruses from banner ads within SG chat. That, right there, is total bullshit. C'mon SG, get your act together. I could go to some way more nefarious adult sites that don't give me viruses.
Secondly, SG chat is very 'cliquey'. There is a small group of people who just talk to each other and ignore others. That's cool and all, and is totally their perogative, but just not what I was expecting I guess.
Outside of chat, I have noticed a few group posters who jump on the first innapropriate post someone does and tears them apart. I know the rules, for the most part, as I have been here since '04, but people not searching for threads is not some reason to savage someone and come off as a total, pompous prick. At least I don't think so anyways.
Well, that's my two cents. Im sure some might say 'If you don't like it, why don't you just leave?'. That is the thing - I LOVE SG. I love it to bits. I think if I'm dropping my dollar every year, I am entitled to bring up my issues with it, don't you think?
I'm off to virus scan the laptop
