I am so exhausted right now. My band, Clamorous, played a really wild show last night. I got really drunk but I didn't even think I was drunk, which accounts for most of the embarrasing, stupid shit I did. But the show was fun and I was amazed at how much people really fucking liked us. Not that I doubt the awesomeness of my band, but it suprised me just how many people came and stayed and enjoyed our set. Fuck yeah! I could have done without all the bullshit at the club though...mostly the owner groping my bandmate. And some assholes harrassing my friend. And being called "babe." I actually ended up stabbing a guy with my keys for doing that. I warned him though.
So I got home around 4 am and then of course this morning at 8 am I get a work-related phone call, and I fucked up shit because I was really out of it and tired. Oh well. Fuck it. I am so done with working on weekends. Seriously, unless someone will die without my all-knowing wisdom, then fuck it. I'm not getting paid to problem solve little idiotic shit that can wait until Monday.
I moved some stuff into my new house today
I have to wait until Saturday of next week to move more because we're getting the hardwood floors refinshed on Wednesday next week. I did learn, however, that I have a psychotic neighbor who on our day of closing made me cry. He SCREAMED at me because the furniture company who delivered our beautiful new sectional drove on this 6 inch chunk of his lawn, the boulevard part that's between the sidewalk and the road. He was just a lunatic about it. But the only thing that happened was some grass got squished. It was horrible. But my other neighbors are nice and I got the official welcome package from the neighborhood association. I got a tote bag!
