Wow. Changing my "blog" and it's not yet Halloween.
So not to be one of those guys on here thats always posting about how cool what they are up to is and all the fancy places they are off to... but I'm about to do just that. Apologies in advance.
The film I made last fall, "The Thirst", I have just learned late last week was accepted and placed in competition at the world's most prestigious horror film festival, The Sitges International Film Festival of Catalonia. The producer who was mad at me for not siding with them in their little legal battle finally called and made nice last week. So I had less than a week to buy my ticket overseas. Not cheap.
So tomorrow I'm flying to Spain, where I'll be reunited with the baby I once believed was lost forever to the evil clutches of Hollywood nastiness. My baby.
A shockingly happy ending.
And for those of you who saw the "Wizard of Gore" trailer and wrote lovely notes and such... you have NO idea what you're in for. This is truly a case of the film itself ("Wizard") kicking the ass of that early sales trailer. You'll see. "Wizard" is... my most special baby.
Here is the Sales Trailer for "The Thirst" I posted awhile ago that Maxx edited that I actually approved.
