I'm taking care of a friend's snakes today and when I look into the bottom-most enclosure, I notice a crapload of babies! He'd mentioned that he thought the snake was sick (he got it for free from somebody that wasn't able to take care of it, and it was malnourished) since it wasn't eating much for the last month or two.
So now I'm here with 25 babies for a friend who's in Ireland until next Sunday. I also just got myself a new Coastal Carpet Python that should be here tomorrow. Gonna be a busy few days!

Daytona, ahh..I really really really want to go, but I'm not sure. I am definitely going to try to go, but I have a few hundred bucks saved up and I need to spend it on new enclosures. I have taken in 2 (now 3!) new rescues (all ball pythons..argh) in the past few weeks, and some of my yearlings are in need of permanent enclosures. I would hate to go to Daytona and find the perfect snake that I've been wanting, and not have any money to buy it. I would be really pissed. So, I'm trying to figure out if I have enough money to build enclosures, and still be able to go and at least pick up some new snake hooks or something...
I'm picking up some plexiglass for enclosures tomorrow, so I'll see how my funds are after that. I missed Daytona last year and I will curse myself to hell if I miss it two years in a row!
