I'm hungry. There's some cheese tortellini that I made the other day in the refrigerator that I'd probably like to eat. Ugh. Life is hard.
I like this new apartment quite a bit. If it weren't for these asshole kittens it would probably be damn near perfect but they're constantly destroying almost anything they can get a hold of, jumping on the kitchen counters, scratching up the furniture and my books, gnawing on power cables, tearing the the plugs for the television out of the walls and knocking my wii over. This week I decided that I hate the kittens when I was thinking about the plot of Y the Last Man and how it would really make my life awesome if a disease swept through Alabama killing off all of the kittens instead of all the mammals.
note: I had to stop writing that paragraph to go into the kitchen so I could take the asshole kitten out of the sink where he was digging through the recently used dishes. I fucking hate that asshole.
anyway, quickly while my home isn't being destroyed, I have pictures.
the back portion of the complex is pretty much in the woods which makes for a sweet ass balcony view like this

Outside of my apartment I've learned to socialize a bit with the impressionable youths I work with. We've introduced a kind of weekly game night for the people we work with at our apartment and last week was actually a lot of fun. We managed to get about 8 people packed into the apartment. We ordered pizza and divided up into groups playing things like Mario Party, Risk, Scrabble and Monopoly in about three groups. I need to send out some texts to plan for this week. But mostly when I go out of the apartment, which is very often, it's to Subway, where I've been promoted to assistant manager as of this week.
here's a picture of Subway.

and here's a picture of Nick taking a picture of Subway.

Dean wanted us to stop using so many cups at work for our drinks so I went out and bought myself a manly glass and it started a trend and now pretty much everyone has a big ass glass.
<a href="http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/?action=view¤t=IMG00098-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/IMG00098-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Subway pizza = shockingly better than you'd think.
<a href="http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/?action=view¤t=IMG00099.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/IMG00099.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

this is where I spend most of my waking life.
<a href="http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/?action=view¤t=IMG00102.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/IMG00102.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
Also, I got one of these
<a href="http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/?action=view¤t=IMG00094-1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i88.photobucket.com/albums/k183/jeremeyes/IMG00094-1.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>
So yeah. I make more money now. More than I made in Illinois, actually. Not hourly, I still only make $7.50 hourly but now I get weekly bonuses and Dean says I'll get $80 extra this week, which should push my paycheck post-taxes to around $350, which is quite respectable for a week. I have some pretty major financial goals though. I have to, as soon as humanly possible, get a car and get back to Illinois because my sister has informed me that they're running out of money without me and will likely have to move rather soon. By my estimation I left behind about $15K worth of shit, so I need to get back there fast. Plus, I miss my stuff. Dean and I are in the middle of trying to buy a car, which would hopefully let me get back up there to get my stuff in a rather quick fashion. It would also give me some extended portability which is something that I've really been craving.
Also, I seriously miss playing bass and have had multiple offers to start bands, so if I can get to Illinois quickly I might just buy a cheap bass to practice on and see what happens. As soon as the car situation is cleared up I want to buy an Imac as soon as possible. I haven't had a computer I've liked in years and for as much as those machines do they're worth the investment.

How are you?
jeremeyes:
