Penfold Here, I'm posting this on behalf of my fiancee Allie...
You may or may not know she lives with, and takes car of her 81 year-old mother who has Alzheimer's. In the past week her mother has taken a huge turn for the worse. As a result, so has Allie. Any tips or advice on keeping her in the present would be wonderful. I'm sure she would love words of encouragement or support. I can read them to her if need be, I'll make sure they get to her.

Caring for sick and aging family is tough, on so many levels. We've never met/spoken here but my thoughts are with you as well. Don't give up. If you can hold on for now, you won't regret enduring this terrible strain you've been put under for so long.
It will get better, even if circumstances don't allow you to see that at this moment.
