tonite i am entering Penfold's world.
i owe him, he has gone to see shows of two of "my bands".

so.....tonite........we go to see Opeth


so they have one album i love........Damnation.
but that is just one out of eight albums.
Damnation is a one of a kind..........it's all with clean vocals.

Opeth is considered death metal. i hate death metal.

however, i did watch Lamentations which is a DVD of one of their shows.

the redeeming quality is that i really like the stage personality (and, umm....hotness) of their frontman
Mikael Akerfeldt.

we are gonna be right up front, so maybe i can get past the growling parts by staring at Mikael or something, i dunno.
