Just a quick post to say... I'm sorry to anyone that was offended by my set title. Irish car bombs are an immensely popular drink in the US. So much so that it literally didn't cross my mind for a second that it would offend anyone. And I'm sure it didn't cross the minds of anyone on staff, either, or else they wouldn't have approved it. After the first person mentioned it (I received quite a few messages, as well as a few set comments, if anyone is wondering), I realized it wasn't the best. Not really anything I can do about it now, but I just wanted to make a little post saying that I was in no way trying to poke fun.

People get too uptight about the strangest things... what the mixologists need to do is create a drink called the "FCC" to celebrate the idiosyncratic nature of all things politically correct.
Just my 2 cents...
BUT, in saying that, i totally accept you didn't think about the more sinister associations with that phrase, staff should have, and it shouldn't have slipped under the radar. This is nothing to do with you though.
I didn't know that was a name of a drink. And I'm Irish, born and bred. And the set name did jar with me, as we have spent years trying to get away from that mentality of associating all Irish people with the activities of a few. I just felt that all that hard work had just been un-done with one phrase. Suicide Girls is a huge forum that thousands of people see on a daily basis, and more thought should go into what gets put up on the front page. That sent a very poor message across, and on Patrick's Day too, when all the world wants to be Irish. Again, this is not your fault, but i am trying to get my point across to you why i was so offended by it.
I realize your apology wasn't written for me, but as someone that was appalled by the set title, i am taking it, and I'm glad of it.
Thank you.
