when my boyfriend refused to go see the Jazz Singer with me in the school library, I couldn't understand why. The building is amazing, and I love the media center. Its all easy plug and play media stuff. Then, I sat down and watched the Jazz Singer. After fastforwarding through most of the VHS I can understand why. we are of a generation that has to have something happen every few seconds. The sesame street attention span calls for a new interesting segment every few minutes, or a riot ensues. I'm not complaining, just pointing out a fact. Either that, or the Jazz Singer just blows. I know its important as the first "talkie" film, but jesus, theres no talking. Half of it still has slides to tell you what they're saying, and only have the musical numbers are actually performed.

Anyhow, I actually did my work for the week. YAY. Tonight I'm dressing up like one of the characters from "where the wild things are" for some kids at work. It should be fun, if it doesn't scare them too much. I'm the Barnes and Noble costume gal, and I love it. Its way too much fun. Lily and the tiny Plastic purse was my favorite one.

I'm going to Denny's with the girls from work tonight. Maybe Bren tonight, I hope so. He's going to see Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy with some friends. I want to see it so bad, but I've got to wait until I don't work . Anyway, love you all. Check out Spinky's new hair and say hi to my friend SierraAE. Sierra's moving soon, much to my chagrin.
