so last night when i went to bed i read more of blue moon. and i couldn't help it. i finished it. awesome book. the entire anita blake series is awesome. laurell k. hamilton is a great writer. though, finishing it meant i was up past 6am. and then i wasn't tired, still, so i started reading the next book, obsidian butterfly.
that was actually my second time reading the book. i've read the entire series up through obsidian butterfly before, and now i'm re-reading the series. see, i wanted jon to read it, that way we could talk about the books since i'd read them before. then i saw him reading them, and i wanted to read them again. so i stay a book ahead of him now so i can ask him where he is and we can talk about what's going on and the characters and stuff. it's a lot of fun. teehee. i'm so glad jon likes the books. it's a lot of fun to have someone to talk about them with. and i mean they're SUCH good books. the characters are awesome. the series is just so fun to read. like i said, it's just really cool to be able to talk about the books with him. it's something we can share, something we have in common. and it's cool 'cause i introduced him to it and he likes it. i dunno, for some reason i just really like doing this. it's fun.
i can't wait till i finish obsidian butterfly this time around, because i just bought the next two books in the series, so then i can read those. yay!!!!
