This blog has been drafting for a week... sorry guys!
EDWARD SCISSORHANDS of course!!!
I have a portrait of Edward tattooed on my left forearm if you didnt know, it's a screenshot from the movie... of course the only screenshot in the movie where he is eating. ( If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with food lol) He's trying desperately to eat a pea in this scene. :)
Anywho, Edward Scissorhands has been my favorite movie since I was 2 years old, I used to watch it everyday. My mom was the first person to point out how Edward and I in a way lived parallel lives, sounds silly I know. My mom pointed out the fact that many people she knows and in circumstances she's seen, have judged me because of the way I look , but later got to know me and realized I have a heart of gold and I'm actually an intelligent, mature, and enlightened person. (Not to mention the fact that I becaOne of the messages in this movie is surely to not judge a book by its cover, and I think Edward and I both represent this message. I think its important to realize that every individual is different and has had their struggles, when you look at someone and judge them... you have to remember that you have absolutely no idea what that person has been through, or what it is that made them develop certain behaviors or bad habits. Everyone has their story, dont judge anyone too hard. Besides, usually when people judge people.. they are reflecting their own insecurities onto others... always look back at yourself when you begin to judge, and remember all the times you were caught lookin' crazy or disheveled.. haha!! I went on a total tangent here.. but anyway Edward Scissorhands is one of the best movies of all time and the symbolism, the visuals, the storyline, everything about the movie is amazing. If you haven't seen it... shame on you. GO! NOW!!!!
