surgery did not go as expected. Apparently my cervix is too small due to the fact that I've never given birth, so he couldn't do some of what he needed too. however, he did remove the cancer from my cervix and a couple growths from my uterus, hopefully benign. He said that might have contributed to the cause of my hemoraging...we will see. I go back on Tuesday to see him and we will go from there.
i was on so much morphine, it was ridiculous. I was throwing up all night from it, couldn't keep anything down, at all. Not even water and frozen yogurt. My throat is all raw from the tube that was in there. I look like a drug addict with needle pokes all over, my arms, hands, fingers from blood sugar checks. oh well...I don't remember any of the surgery. I just remember them telling me to move over to the table and looking up at a bunch of lights, then i was out. I couldn't really understand the nurses around me.
Very weird experience. Next step is a partial or full hysterectomy. We will see. Apparently i wasn't meant for the alternative.
I think I will go get a pedicure tomorrow when I can drive again.
