This is not a happy blog, so just fair warning.
I joined a group on here dedicated to PCOS. Those of you that follow my blogs have heard me talk about it before but for those of you that don't know what it is, PCOS is short for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome.
I am just reading through some of these stories and my heart actually hurts in my chest for some of these women. I can't believe how stupid I've been in not keeping up with this disease. I was diagnosed at 14 or 15 with it, and I'm so fortunate that I'm not in pain from it right now. The cysts don't hurt all the time, they just are there.
The tears just keep rolling down my face. Why did this happen to me, or to any of these several women, and how come no one can tell us why? I have been bleeding for 5 weeks now, and need to go to the doctor again, so he can put me on yet another type of medicine. I'm so tired of the pills, and the pain, the tears and the anger.
I wish I could just go to sleep and wake up from this terrible nightmare.

Aw. I have a few friends with PCOS. If you don't have it, I just don't think you understand how difficult it is. Anyway, I was just popping over to thank you for posting on my blog - I'm glad my silliness and sandwich making/eating skills are appreciated.
