Things:
-Bitch!student got kicked out of school yesterday for stealing. My life is so much easier when I don't have to structure my entire class around her attitude. That said, I'm sorry that she had to go: I actually really liked her as a student. When she was focused on her work she had a curiosity that I think will serve her well, should she continue on to college (which she should, soon as she gets an attitude adjustment).
-Making the overnight cookies from Smittenkitchen.com (they're called "Leite's Consummate Chocolate Chip Cookie" on the site, but I think that's a little pretentious) nom nom nom. They are dark-chocolatey and salty and wonderful from sitting overnight. Tomorrow will be a good cookie night.
-One of my other students graduated today
She was soooo happy when I told her. She was concerned about her math test, but that actually ended up being her high score! She is a lovely student and I am sad she is going, but glad that she's going to college in a couple months.
-Ran 5Ks yesterday and this morning, but I'm still on the elliptical because my knee wants to tweak out. I'm going to try and get my speed up tomorrow morning: I'm really close to running a sub-30 minute 5K (again, on the elliptical, I'm nowhere near that fast on the ground).
-My cat is the most adorable cat on the planet, and there is nothing you can do to convince me otherwise.
-7PM on a Tuesday evening seems like a fine time to look for new Star Trek erotica. The things I would do to Zachary Quinto.....

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the toy story ride over at california adventure, that may have been my favorite ride of the day. i wish i had seen your post before i went, i would have gotten a first-timer pin. oh well, it was killer anyway. so much fun, i can't wait to come back and do it all again, haha
