Oh, what did Ryan and I do for Thanksgiving?

Well, we roasted a chicken, and there was stuffing, and then we ATTEMPTED TO BURN OUR APARTMENT DOWN.

Three college degrees and a teaching credential between us, and we couldn't figure out the damn flue.

Later, there will be pie.

Voted! Ryan and I were 10th and 11th in line, perhaps? Our polling in Arizona opens at 6AM, and we were there at 5:30 or so. I was the first person to vote on my particular counting machine, yay! When we left, the line had stretched down and around the corner of the church, with maybe 80 people in line. Viva la vote!

It's 7:10 on a Saturday morning, and I'm desperately awake. I've been fighting a cold all week, and it's finally moved into the gross "oh geez, can't breathe" phase. Ryan's in bed, asleep, and I'm watching "Dream House" on HGTV and running a virus check. And sneezing my head off. I think I'm going to go mainline some Dayquil and contemplate breakfast.

Heeeeeeroes. Probably going to be the best part of my day.

I knew at the beginning of the day that it was going to be the kind that I went home and cried about, but I didn't expect the impetus to be someone fucking up my fast-food burrito. Damn, that guacamole was bad.
