So after visiting the SG site and floating around taking in all the SG beauties, I thought I would begin writing in my blog . . . time has been a big reason for not doing so before.
The thing I like most from viewing all these women, besides some of the great pictures, is reading some of the thoughts written down in each respective blog. I read about strength, perseverance, stress, joy, intellect, creativeness, and emotions that go everywhere. I especially love those that have a zest for life! That is the real beauty of women.
The other great thing of this site is the diversity of women. There are women from all corners of the world who are so different, yet so alike. You learn so much.
One of my loves in this world is to travel. Maybe that is why I like this previous diversity point so much. There is so much I love about our world and its many cultures, people, and countries. One needs to look beyond what the media says and visit and experience it in person. It is true, the world goes through some ugly and trying times like natural disasters, wars, health epidemics, economic crisis, and crime; however, that is life, and it will not be changing any time soon. It is the strength and resilience in people that help in surviving these situations. We all go through some challenges in our life.
So I thought to myself what I could write about in my blog? Travel places I have been too seems like a good start. I am posting some of my favorite destinations. Hope that they are enjoyed by you guys . . . starting out with some Mexico and Spain.
This is Chichen Itza that is in the Mexican state of Yucatan.
The ancient holy city of Teotihuacan outside of Mexico City.
This is where Tequila comes from, the beautiful agave plant. Took this pic when I was visiting the Mundo Cuervo Tequila plant . . . that visit is still a little hazy.
This is Cancun . . . I was just here in February, warm sunset.
That was just a little of Mexico . . . now for some Spain.
This is right outside of Madrid, what an incredible city. It has so much history and beauty.
This is the aqueduct in Segovia . . . great medieval town . . . good food, wine, and fun.
The entrance to "Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia" in Barcelona. It is considered the master-work of renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaud.
In Madrid, the Fuente de Cibeles . . . looks even better at night!
