It's certainly not my bag, but many folks like the beach and the culture it engenders. If we're talking social settings I prefer a nice standard watering hole (from dive to swank) with a good juke and a bartender that can chew the fat. I leave the LA street gang violence to the actual street gangs and the idiots celebrating sports victories. Not that I don't like sports victories. Cheers to having a good time as you like it.
