Prayer Circle for Morgan Freeman: My Top 20 Favorite Black Entertainers & Related Bliss
As you know this was a bad weekend to be an influential black artist. I'll be damned if grandpa Morgan doesn't get better soon.
1. Richard Pryor was my first beloved black icon, second only to my black step father. It was a perfectly normal thing for me to be watching Pryor at age 5 with my parents.
2. Redd Foxx, sigh. I still watch marathons of Sanford and Son with great pleasure.
3. Rudy Ray Moore...the devil's son in law and the avenging disco godfather. You may know him as Dolemite, mothafucka.
4. The character of Cleavon Little. I oughta get "THE SHERIFF IS NEAR" tattooed above my ass.
5. 80's Eddie Murphy. Raw is possibly my favorite stand up show ever.
6. Sam Jackson. His guest voicing on The Boondocks rules but it's his role as Jules that gets me going. Hamburgers! The cornerstone of any nutritious breakfast.
7. The character of Marcellus Wallace. My favorite of all Pulp Fiction scenes actually is the moment when Marcellus realizes he's just seen Butch driving.
8. Grandad from The Boondocks. The Boondocks is my favorite show and while I enjoy characters like the toothless best friend and Thugnificent, Grandad is my favorite. I think he's the greatest family cartoon character ever.
9. Chappelle: I consider his "retirement" to be an incredible loss to the entertainment industry. God damn it.
10. Chris Rock. Random favorite of Bigger & Blacker: the "Ya want some dick?" bit. You know what I'm talking about.
Look at Jay Z go! I'm in love with this picture.
Top 10 Random Mix Tape to round out my top 20:
Sugarhill Gang : Rapper's Delight
Grandmaster Flash : The Message
Musical Youth : Pass the Dutchie
Michael Jackson : Don't Stop Til You Get Enough / Rock With You
James Brown : fuck it, anything
Marvin Gaye : Let's Stay Together / What's Going On
Tina Turner : Proud Mary
N.O.R.E. : Nothin'
Dr. Octagon : Earth People / Trees
Neneh Cherry : Buffalo Stance
Morgan, you better not do anything stupid. May the force be with you.

Nothing makes me more insane then people giving shit because I refuse to believe that I require 'another half' as per societies conventions.
We, the habitually single of Amerika, need to rise up and smash the oppressive 'couples culture' that is trying to keep us down.
Thairin's posting are more annoying because they are from him and all his bulletins are this:
hieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
The worst part is I can HEAR him saying it! I cannot believe I worked with him for so long.
