ah yes, another day another dollar...i'm totally procrastinating on going to work right now. i usually get out the door by 9...but it's already 9:11 and after i right this...well...i garauntee it'll be a bit later!
work isn't so bad tho really. i'm working on this horror project - the intro and outro cinematics for some xbox360/ps3 game - and believe it or not i've got the incredible honor of working alongside some legends in the process. i have lil girl sqwee moments all the time around them and i feel like such a nerd. i try to contain it and be all mr. cool and stuff but i always end up getting a lil nerd on them even if they don't notice...i mean...theses guys worked on the AT-AT sequence in Empire Strikes Back and worked with Tim Burton on Nightmare Before Christmas! one of them has the ACTUAL stop-motion armature for the vampires in that film on his desk! *pee*
to see these guys work is like seeing god build the universe or something. years of experience and training, you see it and what it can do. it's awesome. not to mention that most of them literally are the pioneers that made most of the industry today possible. using computers to animate must be a fucking breeze for them. it's not like if you mess up you basically blow an entire reel of film and have to start over. amazing.
so yeah, job's good. jelly's still rockin' over at the henson company and will probably be connecting with one of our friends who just started work at disny on a project. good times.
that's about it right now. just finishing my coffee and i promise i'll get going. promise.
rock out with your cock out!
