back from colorado! *phew*
huge-mongous snowstorm blew in the day we started our drive back to cali...i've never seen a snowstorm...fishy's used to it cuz he grew up there but oh. my. god. high in the mountains at 10,000 feet with visibility at about 25% and temps below freezing...it's a bit scary...thank god he's a good driver! we stayed in glenwood springs for the night cuz traffic and snow delayed us about 4 hours and it was night by the time we reached the western side of the rockies. so we crashed at a cozy lil cottage-like joint run by an aged austrian woman with a thick accent. drank a bottle of microbrew beer and made hot munkee love all night just to stay warm! ;-)
in any event it's great to be back in sunny socal...have to go pick up our kitty from my mom's. hope everyone has a fantastic new year!
