Hey ya'll! Sorry I haven't updated much. I've been working this weekend. Also when I got home from work Wednesday morning I discovered our dog died. So I buried him after I got the kids on the bus. Didn't want to disturb them before school. Enough fuckin drama around here already. He did have heart worms, so it finally got him. The kids took it pretty well.
Went out Thursday night. The team we were to play didn't show up, so we won by forfeit! hehe! So, my friend/capt. decided that we should go into Nawlins. Yeah, the French Quarter & Burbon St.! Fuckin A! I haven't been there since his wedding last July! We ate, then hit Burbon St. It was sorta crowded, not like normal. He bought a shirt that reads "Willy Nagan and the Chocolate City!" haha! I picked up a shirt too, but nothing to do with the "Chocolate City" label New Orleans now has. I'm giving it to someone....
On our we out the Quarter, I just had to get a Handgrenade from Tropical Isle! Whoot Whoot! I just thought of an idea, perhaps when I make my venture to the West Coast, I'll bring the Handgrenade mix, the other ingredient I'll need is Everclear! haha!
Today was a fucked up day at work! We should have finished the ship by 15:00 (3pm) but the system was plugged up with ddg's, that's a byproduct of a byproduct. We had a pilot set up for 16:00. When I left at 19:00, we were still loading the ship. The pilot is good until 20:00 before he can walk off and we would have to order another pilot. So we'll hear an earful in the morning. Good thing is the whole weekend has been pretty easy. Byproducts are the easiest to load and the most laid back! That'll be great tomorrow so we can watch the SuperBowl at work! hehe! My favorite ship is in the river. We'll be loading it Tuesday. It'll take about 100hrs to load. It's taking 97,000 metric tons of byproducts. Like you needed to know all of that, just rambling in my thoughts, sorry
I'll try to take a pic of that ship from the bridge Tues. Going to bed, tired. Go STEELERS!
