i have 25 papers to grade by sunday and no motivation to do these things. i keep starting papers but i can't get through them. i think it's also b/c my prof. was sitting here and i was a bit intimidated...but now he is gone so once i am done writing, i am going to close my laptop and get cracking.

summer semester is going to be hell. 6 weeks of 6 3-hour classes. arg. and i still have stuff due from last semester...shoot me. oh, plus, now i will be taking a fourth semester for one damn course! not really what i wanted to do but i think, in the end, it might be better off. plus, i am going to take a course w/ my friend, so not all that bad. whatever. i will make it through, it is just going to be a sucky 6 weeks so if i get pissy and depressing, this is why.

oh, and just so you know, here's what i am taking:

-post modern terrorism CBRN
-advanced issues in national security
-strategic surprise
-US foreign policy in the middle east
-economic and public diplomacy
-strategy and deterrence

oh, and so far i have an 88 final grade in pyschological and cultural aspects of conflict resolution and i got an 89 on my international political economy class but w/ my papers and the extra credit, i am sure i got above a 90

on the plus side, my monies from the US came into my account today - this means i get to buy a new laptop (which is good b/c my powerbox broke...again...last night. but i didn't panic like the last time - i think it's b/c i knew i was going to be getting a new laptop anyway), my plane ticket to the states (YEA!!!!!!!), pay back my dad and a few other people and still have a nice chunk of change to sock away into a savings (which will be good b/c i am going to have relatively smaller paychecks august and september due to days off).

so it will be official - sept 16th - oct 2nd or so, i am syracuse, NY bound! i get to see my family and get to go to my best friend's wedding! i haven't been back in 2 years and to know that it is like *official* that i can now afford to go back makes me sooo happy.

and i have monies to do a massive target shopping. hanes wifebeaters here i come...hehe. oh, and victoria's secret...mmmm....and go to great northern pizza kitchen for mac and cheese pizza and their BBQ wings....oy...i'm getting ahead of myself. haha. but it's exciting. any of my israel SG peeps want anything? let me know

ack, now i have to buy a dress for the wedding and i hate getting all dressy....fuck.

bitch got her engagement ring this week..or should i say 3 rings this week since she vetoed her wedding bands. whatever. so now she has massive bling which you can't miss and i think that is the point of it all...you can't miss it, you have to ask her and give her attention that she craves...whatever. don't care. she also bought a car today. i could technically buy a car right now but i can't afford to pay the payments on it..so public transportation will be it for a bit longer.

i need a better paying job. i did the math, i need to make at least another 1500 a month so i can save better. well, right now i can't save at all. i can pay my bills, have money for the month but i can't save any of it b/c there is nothing to save if i can make a bit more, i can actually start saving money. this will be a good thing.

joual and i booked our hotel in eilat the weekend of aug 6th. we are staying at the dan panorama. we decided against all inclusive b/c this way we have more money to do stuff (like the aquarium and go snorkling). i am super excited. and i am going to rent a car for us to drive down so we can have a bit more leisure than a bus. this will be our first vacation and we've been together like a year and half. he is also officially done w/ army. he went to the base in netanya this week to hand in his card and get his reserve paperwork. he also got upgraded - he is no longer a paratrooper, he is a nahal ranger (read: special forces). so yea for him though boo b/c if there is a war, he is first called to go

went swimming this week. forgot how much i love doing laps.

pulled a horrible muscle in my neck....like really bad.

i am going to petra the weekend after i go to eilat. so, in fact, i will be going to eilat 2 weekends in a row. i am going w/ a friend of mine - we are staying in a hostel and going on a friday day tour of petra. i am super excited as i have wanted to go since i moved to this damn country and it should be a really good time. besides, harrison ford was there...swoooon

now that i am going to the states, i have to debate on whether i want to see my brother and his shiksa b/c he said some bad shit about me and i don't know...i don't know if i could keep my mouth shut once i saw him. i am still so angry at him...not really for going back to the shiksa but for what he did to my parents and the money they spent on him that i am giving back to them (my brother will never pay them back the money and it put them in a bad financial bind so i am giving them the money so they can get back on track.)

we will see. i am just so angry at him right now.

well, i should pretend to grade for a bit as i have class in 2 hours and i've started 3 papers but haven't gotten through them and would like to fully take out 4 papers so i can have some fun w/ my boyfriend this weekend.

oh, and homemade fried chicken tonight...be jealous.
