worked 3 hours today, pretty sure i am getting paid for 8...sweet. internet went down at work and since i remote access computers in the US, no internet = JB no can work. so i went home. around 5:30pm or so i got a message from my coworker saying our boss called him (he is in the US on a vacation) and they fixed everything up but i wasn't expected to show. i read the message around 6 i would have gotten work for 90 minutes (30 minute walk) = useless for me to go in. however, again, pretty sure i am getting paid. and if not, oh well. i got a day off. that works.
ate a huuuuuuuge bowl of cheerios when i got home. damn, i love me some plain cheerios. i know. boring. but i like them. i also like kix. but you can't get kix in this damn country so cheerios will do.
got a really nasty pasta type dish that was apparently israel's version of like a microwavable meal. i blame the picture. the picture made it look amazing. took one bite and the gag reflexes kicked in so fast. yech. i ate a ton of grapes after that to get the taste out of my mouth. ::shudder::
at least i put my study guide together for my international political economy exam...all f-ing 34 pages of it. it's not so bad..it's all bullet points and spaces and crap. sucky part is that the notes from microsoft one-note didn't transfer so well to word so they are a bit weird looking, but whatever. i ain't typing that shit again.
and those 34 pages doesn't even include the 8 or so article summaries i have.
all in all..50 pages of crap.
working 8-4 tomorrow and after, my ass is at a cafe (probably aroma as i am currently addicted to their lemon-mint ice teas) and i am going to go highlighter crazy on all my notes so i really won't have to read 50-some-odd pages. maybe 40. not worse. but not better. ehh.
took the same class w/ the same prof. as an undergrad...she isn't a tough grader and the stuff is pretty easy to remember if you know how to make the connections (like talking about mercantilist, liberal, and structural economies...sounds really scary but if you just remember one key basic idea for one of them, you can easily figure out the rest of them).
not stressed. though, when i took this exam as an UG, i went catatonic for a few minutes while studying w/ people, so who knows.
joual's coming to my place thursday mid-afternoon i told him i'd make him tacos. last time i made tacos i damn near self-pepper sprayed myself. yea, not making no f'ing mexican rice w/ jalapenos. forget that. we will do w/ tacos. possibly banana splits after if i can find good bananas. so far, no such luck.
parents for the weekend. though i will have to leave saturday night so i can go back to the place i need to go to get my israeli passport. apparently, since i got an interim passport when i went back to the states 2 years ago, i have to bring that in order to get a new passport or else they will charge me 750 shekels ON TOP of the 250 shekels it already costs to get a passport. money grubbing bastards. so sunday morning i have to trek my butt to the office in herzliya so i can get this shit done.
damn, it's 7pm, the light outside makes me think it's like 5 and my body makes me feel like it's 10pm.
i'm all screwy.
oh, i'm currently looking for a a decent (somewhere in the sharon area) tattoo artist for my next tattoo i want to get before i go to the states in september. i am kind of a bit aggravated w/ the guy i go to now b/c some of the stars are crooked due to the way he was holding my wrist. they are on the underside and all, but still, i'm a bit upset he didn't realize that would happen. so any recommendations would be great. joual is looking too.
i think i am just going to rest and relax for the rest of the evening. i got nowhere to go or anything really to do and i have a slight headache forming...arg.
it was so weird not having to pack joual's bag last night or get his uniform together for this morning. it was a good feeling. i liked it. i am glad he is out of the army

I heard there is a really good artist up in Kfar-saba, I'll check for details when I talk to the guy who knows him

My place is on Pinsker over by Bograshov. Only problem is that the landlord only wants to be paid with Israeil checks, so now I have to open an Israeli bank account... Good times!
