so i decided to fix my bed (finally) today so i wouldn't sleep lopsided anymore.
in the process, decided to rearrange my entire room.
took me 3 hours to realize that i needed to put my room back to the way it was b/c all my furniture wasn't fitting in the room any other way.
so my room is still the same, but the bed is fixed (i have my great-grandmother's furniture from the early 1900s, real cherrywood bed, dresser and chest of drawers, really heavy and a real pain in the ass when it comes to putting the bed together) and i am no longer lopsided.
however, in the process, i broke my right big toe. apparently the first time i put the bed together, it didn't work and the bottom fell out on my toe and was there for a good 30+ seconds until jordan realized my screams were that of agony and not pissed-off'ness and came to help me out. i also did something to my left wrist and pulled a muscle in my left lower back.
but my floor is now swept too.
oh, and the dog broke my large vanity mirror. apparently, he never saw himself before, got excited upon what he thought was another dog and ran into my mirror, causing it to fall and smash.
so i am now sans mirror.
but the bed is fixed.
paper isn't done but i found an article. it is for my class on international political economy and this author is writing about the sanctions that the UN is looking to impose on north korea and i am going to write how the sanctions will do more harm than good.
that has to do w/ IPE, right?
oh well. it's what i got.
my toe is swollen and black and blue and red.
it hurts too.
made shabbat dinner - homemade chicken shnitzels, sweet potato mash and garlic greenbeans w/ mushrooms. simple yet very good and pretty colorful too on the plate.
and now i am tired. so i am thinking i might pass out.
yea...good idea.
g'nite all those in SG-land and sleep sweet.

I picked up my computer on Friday and it works wonderful. However, I've spent the better part of my weekend loading Mac OS X Leopard, the latest operating system and reloading my music into iTunes. Loading music has been tedious. I have approximately 9,000 songs. I've only uploaded about 3,000 because I got tired and bored. I have to go back to the Apple Store tomorrow because they didn't put the top case on correctly. It's sticking up on one side.
My truck was stalling every now and then when I would press the brakes. My truck is doing just fine now - so far, so good. I washed it last night and it looks and feels great. Thank goodness there was really nothing seriously wrong with it. I have an honest mechanic, so I consider myself lucky that I don't get ripped off like some people I know.
P.S. Great profile pic!
