hi everyone,
so i am (obviously) new to SG, my boyfriend, joual convinced me to join as it is something he sees me enjoying...and i do actually. i write often, though right now i am not quite sure how to write. i keep thinking that this is where i put that cheesy paragraph you see when people are trying to sell themselves on internet ads for getting dates (i've done the jdate circut, i know what it's all about) - and though i am a fan of long walks on the beach on a moonlight night, i will refrain and spare you any of that. i am actually sitting in class right now - i am an MA student at the IDC in herzliya, studying conflict resolution and diplomacy. i often joke that i got into this to have the ability to have people listen and do what i say, and if they don't, i can throw my shoe at them. but then again, often, i don't see it as a joke. i often want to throw my shoes at people. i also like to punch people - i recently punched a girl talking anti-israel crap who insinuated my boyfriend (a combat paratrooper in the IDF) should be shot...however, she threw the first punch, i blocked and punched her in the gut maintaining self defence (and maybe a slight sense of tipsiness). but usually, again, i do refrain from punching people too. but yea, i am class, talking about negotiating w/ terrorists. i could go into a huuuuge diatribe on how you can't negotiate w/ them (take the recent events in gaza - hamas' charter states it won't negotiate w/ israel as it still follows the khartoum conference from the 1960s...) but i won't, well, i won't right now...class is ending soon, i have to pee and i should probably eat something that is healthy unlike the bag of chips and coca-cola i just downed.
so, i could say "stay tuned" but that is some cheesy cliche.
and yes, i know i need pictures up, but i am computer-challenged and i have no clue how to play the re-sizing game.
well, class is over.
yea for my first SG blog
