after 3.5 years here, i finally "splurged" and bought a fan. it's freakin' hot and it's only may.

worked 8-4 today - i like it but i know my boss won't let me permanently switch mondays 8-4 when it took some slight begging to get to work wednesdays 8-4. i figure, i just keep coming up w/ good excuses and eventually, he will see the...

Now that's an epic post, jelly_bean! How are you? Hope all is well on your side of the world. That's great that your brother is moving to Israel. It sounds like you're very excited. As far as Depeche Mode, I was looking at the set list they played over in Tel Aviv. It's great to see Fly On the Windscreen is on the set list. I can't wait to see them in August. I wish I could help you with the whole international law thing, but it's a bit out of my league. In any case, good luck. I'm sure you'll do fine!

smile

Did you go to the new cupcake bakery in TLV? Jawn is awesome.

so after i wrote that...shit hit the fan, even worse, to the point where i am about to bust into tears in front of my work computer and i'm tearing up on the phone to joual and screaming at my dad and all this other fun junk. my little bro is causing some drama. my dad was about to hop on a flight back to...

They're kicking off their tour in Tel Aviv, right? I must say that my tickets are excellent. Basically, 90% of the audience will be behind me. Because they are playing at the Hollywood Bowl, the tickets were pretty expensive. I paid 200 USD.

here's a list of what's going on:

"why?" you may ask. well, my little bro's fiance went public w/ the news of their engagement (and by "public" i mean she posted it as her status on facebook including a picture of the ring...which actually isn't half bad i have to say..thumbs up to the little...

so i decided to fix my bed (finally) today so i wouldn't sleep lopsided anymore.

in the process, decided to rearrange my entire room.

took me 3 hours to realize that i needed to put my room back to the way it was b/c all my furniture wasn't fitting in the room any other way.

so my room is still the same, but the bed...

Ouch! eeek Sorry to hear about your toe. I've broken almost every bone, but I haven't had the pleasure or pain of breaking a toe. Hope you're feeling better soon!

I picked up my computer on Friday and it works wonderful. However, I've spent the better part of my weekend loading Mac OS X Leopard, the latest operating system and reloading my music into iTunes. Loading music has been tedious. I have approximately 9,000 songs. I've only uploaded about 3,000 because I got tired and bored. I have to go back to the Apple Store tomorrow because they didn't put the top case on correctly. It's sticking up on one side.

My truck was stalling every now and then when I would press the brakes. My truck is doing just fine now - so far, so good. I washed it last night and it looks and feels great. Thank goodness there was really nothing seriously wrong with it. I have an honest mechanic, so I consider myself lucky that I don't get ripped off like some people I know. biggrin

P.S. Great profile pic!

well, a good phone call and a good night's sleep is sometimes all you need to feel better.

after talking to my dad, joual called me up (though he was still on guard duty) and really cheered me up and made me laugh and smile. i was down and he made me better. a lot better. i didn't cry. i almost did but then he...

Cheer up! Everything will sort itself out. It always does. It hasn't been all that great for me either. On Monday the hard drive on my MacBook went kaput. It'll be at the Apple Store for about 5 days. Luckily, I have most of my stuff backed up and today, my truck is with my mechanic. When it rains it pours!
