today was find odd things at work day.
first, while i was cleaning off the soda racks, i found an unused condom there. since i'm not having sex with anyone currently (not by choice entirely) and the idea of not knowing where it's been kinda creeped me out i threw it out.
then i was out sweeping the parking lot and i found a photo of some person standing in front of some cabinets with bad vinyl 70's wallpaper on them. threw that out as well.
last but not least, i found a postcard from thailand sitting out on the propane tanks while i was cleaning the doors.
this i had to keep. the stamp has some crazy guy in what appears to be a helmet made out of coconut on it. and it cost 9 baht. baht is a funny word. the picture on the front is a beautiful beach with leaning trees and a vibrant bluegreen sea.
as for the text contents on the back.. it's some odd account written by a man who meets a dancing girl in "kanchanaburi town." after a week of dancing and traveling, they decide to live together in a bamboo hut on the river's edge and she sings him soft thai love songs and tells him she wants him to stay. i envy the bastard.
