weekend update:
So i made the trip to Mammoth, with my friends Dave and Lisa. It was great trip. We had booked a condo and there were 9 of us total. it was nice meeting some new peoples. but 3 or 4 of the people that were staying with us ended up being total jerk-offs. We went snowboarding Saturday, which kicked so much ass and it was a nice warm up for Breckenridge, in 2 weeks. woo-hoo. (if there's still snow that is). I only spilled hard once, but my backpack broke my feet over head fall. Saturday night was great, we made a massive sprawling dinner with the aforementioned jerk-offs contributing nada. and spent the night talking over red bull and vodkas (tip of the day: add a little cranberry juice, makes it real nice). Sunday we had to be out of the condo by 11:00 so we packed up our shit and headed home. there are some really nice natural hot springs outside of mammoth and the locals have built little hot tubs out of rock and cement. it's fuckin insane. this little hot tub out in the middle of nowhere with the best view of the mountains you could be possible think of. and the hot tub has a faucet to regulate the temperature! so did the hot spring thing and headed home.
Overall it was a nice little trip. the company could have been better (and slightly less infantile) but there's nothing like being in the mountains. It was great hanging with D and L. good peoples.
back to work time!...
