currently dealing with tons of house guest.
last one stayed a week. maybe a bit too long? yeah. luckily current guests only stay one night. good to have peoples in the house, lots of good food and vibes. but not enough privacy and alone time. me needs me alone time.
now off to go eat at Hurry Curry and possibly talk to the most cutest girl that works there. last week she sat down to talk with me and asked me "what my deal is". hopefully this week she'll sit down again and i'll muster the courage to ask her if she wants to hang with me sometime. i suck at this sorta thing but i think she's worth bursting my own bubble...
wish me luck.
{can't get enough of 2 parts 'Iron and Wine' and 1 part 'Air', they must go well with the sinus cold i've had for 2 weeks now}
UPDATE:
So I asked the Hurry Curry chick if she wanted to "do something sometime". yeah, i know. i was nervous. but at-least i did it. believe me when i say this is the first time i've been bold enough to go up to someone like that. i never do that kinda thing in clubs or bars or anything. anyways, she kinda looked at me and nodded her for a little while, and i'm like "yes/no/maybe?" and she's like"well, what do you like to do?" and i'm like "hmm, i don't know, i guess i'll have to think about it." and so she said to call her at Hurry Curry, sometime early next week. not an encouraging sign, but that's cool, we don't really know each other. So i say goodbye and get on my way. And so in the car, i'm thinking about what a good thing to do would be. and i'm like "fuck dates" dates are wack and contrived. i just wanna get to know this girl and have her get to know me. So i call her up at the restaurant, and I'm like "i have the perfect thing to do. Let's meet for a cup of coffee/tea. very low key and just to get to know each-other." she thinks that's a great idea. but she's going out of town for the weekend, to set up an orphanage in Tijuana (how crazy is that?! - i gave her serious props). So she says call her at the store early next week....
So in hind sight, it didn't go as smoothly as I had wished and i feel like there's a 40% chance she has a boyfriend and was just saying yes so she didn't have to say no in person and could be flakey on the phone without having to come right out with it. but i guess we'll see. she definitely came up to me first. But my homie Tony says that being in a service industry, it's a waitress' job to flirt with you and under no circumstance should you take them at face value. I don't know, i guess we'll see. she sure is a little cutie...
