so on monday i go into arbitration with a former client who dumped me last week. i wanted them to dump me. i hated working for them. i have an air-tight contract. but its still the first time i've ever been fired, intentional or not, and it's very emotionally draining to go through this divorce-like process with people i don't even want to look at. oh woe is me.

socially things are moving along as usual. somehow i manage to have 3 things to do every night of the week, and no money to finance any of them. hooray for credit!

tonight is a fondue party welcoming everyone back from burning man, and also a houseweirding party for the hey!loft. you've gotta love an apartment when the directions to get there are "go to the abandoned KFC, turn right down an alleyway and look for the garage door covered in graffiti." i'm best man at a fake wedding ceremony which will take place at midnight. should be a blast.

i also want to say that my roommate andi rocks. she's the perfect roommate, and she's becoming a great friend of mine as well. considering we met only once before becoming roommates i think i am incredibly lucky.
