so here is the big update. i am directing a play in manhattan which is going to be fantastic! i just finished casting and we go into rehearsals next week (after lostarchitect comes for a visit and um, destresses me). i am self producing this thing so its a shitload of work. now that i'm cast, i have to spend the reast of this week finding a set designer AND putting together a press release. then i can get to the actual directing prep work. . .
there are also a million contracts to sign but the best part is that i get to put up the show at "the culture project" at 45 bleecker which is an amazing space!
all in all, its been a serious roller coaster. i've certainly broken down a few times in the past week. eventually i'll get to start directing and it will all be ok. that what makes it all worthwhile.
