My roommate came home tonight covered in blood.

He was attacked at work by a drunk who hit him and splattered him with blood.

Let me just put this into perspective, he's an EMT.

He took me out to the ambulance and showed me the inside, it looked like horror film gone bad, the floor and walls were covered with dried blood.

And so my respect increases for first responders.

At least he got to hit the guy back and have the police spray him with pepper spray.
