Ok, bitches, it's almost ready.
Since Carla was good enough to be my sounding board for this, and since tilpacer actually saw me perform it at Dead Man's Wheelchair a few weeks ago, and since Michele hassled me to post SOMEHTING last night after a hard day of saving Arkham from eldritch influences, I figure I can finally let this cat out of the bag to breathe. Still untitled, although as a concession to certain pronunciations, in my head I sarcastically refer to the piece as:
vAHz
Is it two faces, or a place where a vase is
And what of the space around vase and/or faces
In the case of two faces, space shaped like a vase is
While a vase when placed in a space shapes two faces
Our minds race to encase what the nature of space is
When the space and what's placed can trade between cases
All you see is a face (If you're one of the faces)
You can't see the vase-like shape that the space is
But the vase embraces the shape of both faces
The same way both face-shapes hold the space that the vase is
On what do we base whatever the case is
Without knowing whether the faces or vase . . . is?
Still a work in progress, I've changed a couple words and ditched most of the punctuation just during posting this thing. Any feedback will be appreciated, but variations and your own work would be cool, too.
Anyone have the madd skillz to set this to music?
