If you would've asked me a few years ago if I could get sick of Modest Mouse shows I would have told you it would be an impossibliity. Just finished day number four... and I cant wait for tommorrow to be over. All nights have been sold out, and it's been so monotinous and just basicly annoying. Im hoping tommorrow will be better cuz they were better the last two nights and Im hoping for the modest mouse shows like I use to love this friday.
Tonight I ran into a guy I use to work with at the bar in Alaska. It was a super suprise. We talked shit for a while and I guess he is a writer now for a paper in Alaska called the Press. It's a trendy lil local paper like every city has. Kind of like the Stranger in Seattle or the Mercury here. Anyways, he was at the show to write a review. Anyways, him and I have alot in common and it made me think that Im very glad I moved out of Alaska (because that's his and his girlfriend's goal)/ and it also made me think about how fun it's going to be to pursue my career and how I dont want to be doing this shit for much longer.
So my goal for the last few days has been to find my girlfriend this christmas present I want to get her. I've looked high and low...called tons of places...and have walked for the past two days downtown trying to find this certain gift. I got her one gift, but she knows about it cuz she saw it online and the ebay account/ and bank account are in her name...so I know she's loving that gift. Still Im on a mission and I wont stop till I find this gift. It's kind of fun to have a mission with alot of drive. I hope she loves it. I was saying to her the other day how it's funny because even people Im close to...I dont know what to get them because I dont feel I know them well enough to know what they'll love to get. But with her...I know her well enough and we're in sync like that. So, yeah. Wish me luck on my hunt. Im off to spoon n sleep. Till next time...

I can imagine you running around trying to find that gift. And I'm really wondering what it is! I know you can't say, because of course she'll see. But I'm dying over here. Oh, the suspense. I can't wait til Xmas now!
