Well that was an interesting 12 hours. Have you ever seen powder? I think that part where he explains that if everyone could read each other's mind then they would see that they are all the same and would truly Understand each other, and then there would be no need for lies, sarcasm, fear, or any of the other things that seperate us all. If the world needs one thing I would say it needs communication. I stress over things I am afraid of, dont understand, or feel powerless over. I wonder if true psychics are more calm because they know and can see and understand things, or if the things they see just worry the hellout of them and make them distraut.
Anyways, Dawn and I practiced some communication today. We're learning. We need it cuz Im the superdwelling insomniatic headcase and she's the turtle in the shell hide the problem and forget about it. Together we are the PSYCHO-DUO. We very seldom have problems, but when we do our communication or lack there of, makes it worse than it should be. And since it rarely happens, we're not use to having to deal with it. We dont yell, name call, or take cheap shots like most couples. So, that's good. Anyways, we worked shit out and we're both happy we talked. Very non-confrontational isnt it?
My lesson learned today is...most of us aren't mind readers. The next best thing we can do is try to talk to each other till we get a good understanding of where the other person is at and how they feel. And though that is hard and takes alot of word fumbling it's better than saying "Ah fuck it". (Kinda Jerry Springer final thought like wasnt that?)
