hi everyone

see this lovely creature
she made me fall in love with cats
before i knew her i hated cats (dont judge me)
cassie may (pictured) and her son jake
loved me and bought and allowed me into
their home and their environment
they looked me in the eye
and showed me a part of me i never
new existed

i am sad as i write this because
cassie had to be put down because of
a tumor
ten days before my cousin died
and
cassie's death affected me more
it was controlled and i watched her
deteriorate from a responsive involved and loving
member of a family
into a baby girl who needed to be loved so much ...

it was terrible for me and she wasn't even my cat
it has made me rethinnk getting a cat
although mj has other ideas!

rpe has suffered a terrible loss and
what makes it worse is that i did not make myself
(through my own selfishness)
available to him
to care for him and love him through this

don't judge me
but i was terrible
i still feel the onslaught of the effects of my behaviour
even now
two weeks later

i will never forget cassie
"mamma puss"
ever

her fur was so soft
and her nature amazing

i loved her
and feel lucky she was in my life
