Well I am officially sick, AGAIN. I felt like I was just sick like 2 weeks ago. But I guess it was really like a month ago. It sucks!!
Anyway, I went to some kick ass shows this week. Saw Emanuel and Alexisonfire at ottobar. Great show. I'm not very into Alexisonfire but they put on an amazing show. Emanuel rocked despite the singer being sick. They are one of my favorite bands right now and have been for the past 6 months or so. I get bored with other albums but their's is one I find myself putting back in my cd player at least every other day. Great band and great guys.
Thursday night my friend Chris set up a show at this community center in Burtonsville, MD with There's Always Forever (a local band with a lot of potential), 33 West, Waking Ashland, Days Like These, and This Day and Age. 33 West brought their unique blend of ska, pop, punk, rock, and hardcore which to some of the idiot teenagers there was too different for their tastes. But I thought they were kick ass. Waking Ashland was great, as was Days Like These. Then This Day and Age came on and everyone paid attention. They are just a really really great emo/pop/rock band with good lyrics and a great stage presence.
Now i'm just relaxing and trying to get better. Tomorrow is my little nephew's birthday party at PIZZA HUT!! haha. i remember those days. ah to be young again.
